How did we end up this way?

How did we end up being so full of hatred? No compassion…no humanity….no understanding…no respect. We have become so cold, distant…we have disconnected from the world and our sisters and brothers of this planet. 

We are just a huge dysfunctional family. We are connected, no matter what race, age, gender, sexual orientation…we are connected. That connection should be bonding us and giving us strength, instead of filling our heads with hatred, greed and chaos. We need each other more than ever and we are just too blind to see that. 

Why are we this way? Why are there those who laugh at others as if they have no soul…no feelings? Why do they think it is funny to do hurtful actions and say destructive words? Since when has this become acceptable? WHERE IS THE HUMANITY IN LIFE? 

Belief in religion or not, something must give. We are connected regardless of religious (or lack of) beliefs. We should help our fellow sister and brother if we are able to. We need to pay it forward kindness and re-establish hope…that someone out there gives a damn! Our extinction will be ourselves. 

Help someone in need…if they use the resources given at least you tried. Always remember, you may touch someone’s life in a way that they feel no one cares. They may actually feel someone does care. This world needs HOPE! WE NEED HOPE! OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS NEED HOPE! Without HOPE, we will perish. We will kill each other. We will be the creation of our own extinction. Think about it!
